May 19, 2020

Today, West Pines United and Sunrise Prime FC announce a partnership to align two of South Florida’s strongest youth soccer programs.

West Pines United and SPFC (Sunrise Prime FC) leadership have had several meetings in the past weeks & months. Sharing club philosophies and a long-term vision for enhancing youth soccer to create new opportunities for players in Broward County, both clubs found common ground in their passion for individual player development and see the importance of investing in local soccer talent. From the outset, West Pines United and Sunrise Prime FC have been driven towards the same overriding collective goal of providing players with the best developmental opportunities possible.
The aim of this partnership is focused on the development of girls youth soccer players & to provide a pathway to the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). West Pines United & SPFC staff will collaborate across both club platforms. Further, SPFC will bring additional high-level league platforms & showcase opportunities to West Pines.

The West Pines United Futbol Club (WPU) is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida and is one of the largest competitive travel programs in South Florida. With a professional coaching staff and their strong history of player development, West Pines United is a nationally recognized program that has become a club for champions.

“Our players annually use their development skills to achieve numerous accomplishments including National Team selection, Olympic Development Program (ODP) selection, College selection, and thus achieve many team championships. This partnership will elevate and provide endless opportunities for our players and the local community. #ThePowerOfTogether” – West Pines United President, Neil Charley
