2008 West Pines United FC Tournament Report
West Pines United FC would like to take this opportunity to personally thank
all participating teams which made the 12 th Annual West Pines Kickoff Classic
such an astounding success. With over 250 boys & girls teams, with age groups
ranging from U9 – High School Division, the tournament offered excellent
competition, first class facilities & a fun-filled atmosphere for all involved.
West Pines United FC Club President, Todd Goodman, comments on the
tournament, “ Overall, our tournament was very successful in many aspects,
as our single biggest club fundraiser, we certainly achieved our financial goal.
On the field, all teams were provided the opportunity to compete in a challenging
environment to assist them in preparing for their upcoming seasons. Furthermore,
I’d like to thank Paolo Dal Farra, who acted as our Tournament Director, the
City of Pembroke Pines & all the volunteers who performed so admirably in
making this event such a success”.
