BUENOS AIRES (March 23, 2009) -- The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team opened its foreign tour of Buenos Aires with a 2-1 win against Bolivia with goals from Stefan Jerome and Marlon Duran. The match was the first of three international friendlies for the U.S. in South America over five days.
Jerome scored in the 10th minute, finishing a Carlos Martinez. Four minutes later, Bolivia leveled the score, but Duran put away the game-winner early in the second half on a perfectly placed free kick.
