Vero Beach Cup Champs

20th Annual West Pines Kickoff Classic
October 10, 2016
In support of breast cancer awareness, pink will be worn on the pitch and beyond the touch lines during games throughout the month of October. The club, coaches, members and players will come together to remind women 40 and older about the importance of having an annual mammogram.
Throughout the month of October, West Pines United F.C. will encourage boys and girls teams, including players, coaches and parents to wear pink accessories promoting  Breast Cancer Awareness.  Pink game ideas include:
  • Game soccer balls
  • Players wearing pink shoe laces, headbands, hair ribbons, nail polish and/or captain’s arm bands.
  • Pink ribbons pins for coaches.
  • Fans wearing pink ribbons or other accessories, together with our traditional colors, showing support for Breast Cancer  Awareness.
Countless Americans who have never had breast cancer and more than 2.5 million who are surviving the disease will celebrate a birthday this year thanks to the American Cancer Society and supporters like you who are helping save lives.
