We are proud to announce that our U8-U12 Boys Director, Javier Carrillo, has been named FYSA Coach of the Year for the 2015-16 Season.

Coach Carrillo is widely known in the world of soccer at the youth level. The successes of his players with the powerful West Pines U14 Boys and the recent great results in State Cup, Regional and National Tournaments have earned him this well-deserved award.

COACH CARRILLO IN 5 KEYS:javier_carrillo_fysa_coach_of_the_year

  1. “My vision to develop total “footballers” drives me to constantly educate and prepare myself. As youth soccer rapidly evolves, it is vital to provide our young players innovative and creative learning methods”.
  2. “A player must build habits including training hard, eating well, resting, and most importantly studying. If we enjoy playing soccer, then these habits should not be a sacrifice”.
  3. “The goal is to continue exposing myself to new challenges. This season I will be acting as Director for the U8-U12 Boys program. I look forward to the opportunity to work with all the young talent in our club and to help them reach their full potential”.
  4. “I strongly believe in order to continue growing, one must constantly pursue new challenges”.
  5. “As a club, we must ensure we are developing players but most importantly great citizens”.

Congratulations Coach Javier! Keep up the great work!
